Thought about finger sandwiches, but I like a "little" meat.
Get this -- Wells Fargo called to say that my last check went thru and there was no money in the account to cover it!!! What a crock!! Boy was I POed! Imagine -- the forged checks cleared no problem and my checks bounce!!! I had to drag myself out of there so that I wouldn't beat someone to a pulp!!

Howdy folks! Hope all is well with everyone. Got something to run past you. Wynette and I have been working hard in finding a place for the swap. Couldn't find any park in Lansing area that was open on July 11th. In fact no dates in July. Did get a nice park for Aug 1st. Park for the kids, pavillion and bathrooms. Is this date ok with most of you?? Please PM me with your thoughts!

What a beautiful day. I don't mind the cold start as long as the sun comes up right away. 80 sounds to hot to soon for me, but I would be happy with 65-70 all summer. I hope you all have a great day today!

Babsboys just left here and it was enjoyable to show her my chickens digs. She has two of her children with her. The little girl is adorable and the 4 year old boy is cute. A handful but cute. Brought back memories of my boys at that age.

It doesn't matter what date we wind up with just as long as we are able to get together. I should be a lot of fun.

Hi, fellow Michiganders! Thanks all for being so patient with me...and a special "thank you" to Chickflick for finding us a location to meet!

I'm with you, Sam - so long as we can meet, doens't matter where! I'm REALLY looking forward to meeting you all in person! My digital camera will be charged & ready to go!!

I went with hubby to pick the kids up from school this afternoon. We took our three boston terriers (Mac, Kipp and Herbie) with us. We stopped off to do the chores and put the animals away for the night. We have limited the pups time out there with the goats, ducks and chicks because we don't want them to try and eat them. Well, all three pups surprised me. Herbie just wanted to find nanny berries, hubby had Kippy on her leash - she LOVES poop, and Mac actually helped my son "herd" the animals back into their pens. I think I might have the first herding boston!! My son is excited about this! Mac is such a smart, good dog! He is 5 now and we tried weight pulling with him 3 years ago. At that time, Mac weighed 13 pounds and pulled 155 pounds first time out! I love my Boston!

Just bring yourself and something good to eat. Wynette should be posting uner the swap heading. Didn't go look for it yet. Think she is going to sign up for food so we all don't bring the same thing...like lots of brownies...yummy!!

I just tried to catch up from the past couple of days.

Meet up sounds fun!

Bad news today. My little buff laced polish Norma got killed today.

She was out in our field and got run over by the tractor and the disc. Poor thing. I will miss her very much.
