MJ -- couldn't remember, but do you have EE's, too. Didn't know if you sold all at the time that I bought mine. Anyways, I've heard that they start laying later than other breeds. Just wondering if you or anyone else found this true. Just curious.

i have one that lays a blue egg and one that lays a blue-green egg. and their cockerel is a handsome dude! just started crowing the other day.

So is he from the same batch as mine? He's cute. I pretty sure my white one is a roo, too. His comb and face are bright red now, but no crowing yet. Seems like Peanut Butter took a while, too. Yup, I didn't care when they start laying, just excited to get those pretty eggs.

Ugh!!! Have you ever had one of those weeks that was just really awful, but nothing really major went wrong that you could blame the awfulness on??? This past week has been one of those for me. Now I am physically in pain, and a mental spaz. I just want to kick myself in the butt and get it over with.

Hopefully we will have good news at MJ's this week.

Hi ya!
I got a bunch of stuff done inside today and even a box of garage sale stuff priced!

My garden loved the rain, more seeds popped up today!

Remind me next winter how nice the garden is, I tend to forget went hauling water and shoveling snow!

So I just got back from doing my evening chores, checked on my broody's and my chocolate pied muscovy hen is a mama!!

Looked like a whole mess of babies!!

I see what looks like chocolate and white, maybe black and white and who knows what else, Mama was not appreciating me trying to peak underneath her!!

They weren't there this morning, if they were, it was just a few, because I couldn't see them, now I see egg shells and little fluffs sticking out. She is not letting them out of the nest yet, so there may be more to hatch yet, or she might be keeping them in to keep them warm and dry.


I am hoping my blue and white hen stays put and hatched her clutch out in a few weeks too, that would be awesome!!
