Vicki- congrats on the hatch!

So glad for the rain!!! I haven't gotten the hose and sprinkler out yet and the garden really needed a good watering. Now I don't have to do it for several days!!!!

Been working on cleaning and purging the house. My SIL is having a garage sale next weekend, a fundraiser for breast cancer. (She has breast cancer for the rest of her life. it spread to her bones)

So...we are cleaning and donating items to the cause! A win win situation

Off to bed, The handicap riding program is whipping my butt! A lot of stress and running around!!! Will adjust shortly.......hopefully! I did better last year, but wasn't getting up so early to exersice.

Yes, After months of searching I was finally able to find some Black Java eggs!!! We were expecting Friday (maybe Thursday) hatch. I've got the day off tomorrow so that would really make my day!!!

Though it would also be very exciting if she was able to use the shovel!! I went from 12+ calls a week to 2 in 2 weeks because my craiglist ads keep getting flagged. I always deleted my old add before adding a new one. UGH!

foggy here this morning. I was taking the baby to day care, carrying her to the car when I hear her say kitty.. so I look where the lil stinkbutt is pointing. It wasn't a kitty, it was a SKUNK!!!!!! needless to say we hopped in the car and fled the scene

Just got back from dropping her off, no skunk in sight..... phew!

I think the end may be in sight!!!Rain is letting up as I speak. I'm glad too. DH wakes me up at 2:30am, saying find some candles. What?!? I see lights on. Sump pump blew and took some breakers with it(inbator went out) YIKES!! He's putting in a new pump while standing in a good 6inches of water. I get up this morning, basement's dry but the yard, gardens, and coop are all under water. My drive way is the only thing still dry. No more days off!!

Hi Friends!

Looks like a good day to stay in and make something crafty with the kids! Thank goodness I have 5 kids to keep me busy today.
I am taking some little roosters up to the sale in a week and a half if anyone is interested in them. They are between 6 and 8 weeks old. Some are crosses and some pure. Let me know, they are free!
