Great that he has a goal already, from the time I can remember I knew I was always going to be a farmer, then it changed when I was 30 and became a building contractor......never know where life is going to take you.

It is amazing the twists and turns in ones life. I've been a demolition specialist, a drill sergeant, a UPS driver, an aircraft refueler, a carpenter,
a fireman, a retireee, a building contractor, and now I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do when I grow up.

Sam I think you have done some cool things in your life. Oh you forgot your most important role dad and Mr mom !!

Good Morning All! Great pics! Love seeing the cute babies. The coop looks great! Glad to see you back, Steve. Have a great trip up north.
I've got two eggs zipping. Thought I would have babies this morning, but nothing so far.
I'm so glad it's raining! I need a break!! Yesterday, I got both coops cleaned out, roots scrubbed down, waterers disinfected, etc. Rabbit hutch is cleaned, and the brooder is cleaned. Planted some stuff, washed dishes...what else was there?

I'm hurting all over! Sux to get old...er. Going to Lansing to have lunch with a bunch of ex co-workers, and then out to dinner with Krisrose. Now, that's my kind of day!

Eggs in the incubator, one welsummer had completely zipped with I looked through the window at 5am. Now that little cap is dropped down into the shell. Doesn't look good. I've got a couple of other welsummers pipped but nothing happening with the BCM's yet.

DD & I had a great day. Since the rain was minimal, we were able to try out our new chicken tractor. We made it out of 2x2s and rubber chicken netting. It is 8ft. long. Not preditor proof, but it is just for use when we can watch them. Not bad for less than $30.
