well, I just got back from visiting MJ and her family. Holy cow, i had such fun!!!!!! MJ, i had the time of my life, and Shana is talking about the next trip

I think we'll convert her to a country girl next. I told her that I plan on getting her some western boots and a cowboy hat close to something like I wear and for once she didn't disagree

The wife is sooooooo excited about tomorrow

I'm not allowed to share or gloat with her how wonderful it would be for her to nail this job, because she doesn't want to Jinx herself!!!!!!! anyways, I am crossing my fingers and sayin a prayer for her anyways

Wow the sun is shining like crazy!! I am loving it and it's Friday to boot! Yipee!!! I have 1 load of laundry left and I can hang it outside. Have to babysit today and my kids will be home wish me luck. Hope everyone has a great day.

oh my goodness! it's a beautiful morning!

okay! so here is the skinny on Boyd, his wife Kelly and daughter Shana!
they are a scream! we had so much fun just chatting away the night.

we just all fit together like a puzzle. everyone was their self and the kids all took right to one another.

i just enjoyed talking with Kelly so very much. it was nice to have a chat with another mom who has a busy 'normal' life.

Rick loved talking weaponry 'shop' with you, Boyd! 'dude' talk. guys need that. i think so many people forget man stuff doesn't need to be rude and nasty, it just needs to be about hunting, fishing, skinning, providing, fixing carbs and milling heads etc. (see, i was paying attention!)

Shana is going to be a light in a dark world. she has many gifts. she is quick to adapt, i am sure from having to, but she uses it for neat things. like improvising the quail box. we so want to have her back to visit the girls!

wow. could this be a longer post? we just enjoyed you all so much and thank you for the bread! the kids made toast this morning with scrambled eggs and they loved it! please come back soon on a weekend and we can spend more time!

p.s. one hour until the interview! i've been praying all morning! she's going to do awesome!

Good Morning everyone, er ..... afternoon now. It's an exciting day as I will get to meet Shelley B and Gonzo will be joining the flock today! Such a cute little guy. The kids are enjoying their first day of no school. I told them to enjoy the day because come Monday it is Summer Boot Camp around here.

At least I haven't heard any I'm boreds yet today!

MJ, you taught me well. You are not the only one that can stuff peeps in peoples pockets

Michelle was just here to drop off Gonzo my new Del roo, and I sent her home with 2 BO pullets.

Gonzo is super sweet and was perfectly content to hang out in my arms. He just shut his eyes and enjoyed all the attention.

He's already trying to show his bad self off to all the meaties who could care less.....but it was amusing to watch. It was lovely meeting Michelle and her son Logan. The boys had a lot of fun playing together while we had our fill of chick talk.
