Good evening everyone. One of the chickens found a itty bitty baby frog today and grabbed it and ran with other chicken chasing it and gobbled it done. Poor baby frog didn't even see it coming. It was funny to watch though.

I love watching chickens playing keep away. Last fall one of my sons who was 40 years old kept going out in the field to catch large grasshoppers to throw into the chicken run just to watch the ruckus. We both were laughing till our side hurt.

Hey everyone, I can't believe how long its been since I've posted. I took a volunteer job as a translator and thats been keeping me busy ( a little more than I thought it would haha)

The birds are getting huge! The chickens actually look like chickens and the ducks and geese have graduated from the kiddie pool to the big pond, but are still a little unsure of it.

Does anyone have or know of anyone who has Chinese geese? I'm looking for a white male to go with my female.

out of my 3 broody girls we have 4 chicks 2 Americana's 1 GLW and little unknown bantam.

3 didnt make it, one looked like it was going to be a BA with Americana it had Little puffy cheeks, but it was having a hard time breathing, and it died a couple hours later. i was bummed i was really hoping to see what it grew up to look like.

I took 3 of chicks in house the one hen kept picking at the other baby's and left hers to take care of, now the other 2 are trying to go broody again
