I am tired tonight. Dh and I picked 4 gallons of sour cherries yesterday and I made jam and cobbler today. I still have 2 gallons left to do tomorrow. But I am disappionted because the jam seems kind of runny.

Well, count me in!

I've been working on a family tree (my grandparents down to their great grandchildren). I was asked to do it last night and it's for a reunion, which is this Saturday! So I've got it almost done and my brain is fried. Didn't realize how many relatives there are until it's down on paper.

That's neat! They are trying to get each "family" to do an updated list and my Grandpa isn't to keen on doing that sort of thing, so I am doing it.

And count Don in for taste testing -- it's one of his favorite hobbies!

Evening Everyone. I'm new to this kind of forum. We just got our first batch of layers today. It brings back memories of when I use to help my grandma when I was little. She would be proud of me.
Just wanted to say hi.

MJ -- doesn't sound like Don is wanting to butcher the meaties that we'll be getting from you. So looks like they'll be going to the Amish. They charge $1.25 a bird. My friend who uses them said that they do a great job and are very clean. So that's good. What would you use to haul 20 meaties to the processor?
