Well we needed the rain, the temperature is quite comfortable, but the cool sure isn't doing the gardens any good. I've never had a poorer crop of beans. The lettuce sure loves the cool weather. Usually it has bolted by now.

Good morning!! It's raining! It's raining! I am so happy! We needed this rain soooo much. I can hear my garden and grass going aaahhhh...Sounds like a good drenching this morning and headed out after 9am. And a nice cool weekend.

Opa you can come down to our place and pick some veggies if you want. My beans are just starting, give them a week and watch out well have too many.

Monkey is still hiding out some place. I left the computer for just a few minutes and he snuck in. As I was walking back to the puter room, I see him running out like he saw something really scary. poor Monkey! i am glad i didn't scare the wizzle out of him! now i will not blame him next time i find mysterious charges on my AMEX for gourmet Doggie Bones made in France! he probably needs a good snack after that scare!

i was on my way to the harvest party at our church and thought i would paint my own face too.

Good morning all. My cherry jam did thicken overnight. It was my first time making this kind. I still have 2 gallons of cherrys to do something with. Opa, I was looking at my green beans today and realized that I need to start picking. I have also been getting a lot of squash.
