Hey everyone!!! I'm in Michigan, fairly new to chicken farming. Well I'm so super excited I gotta tell it! I got an incubator last night!!! My honey went out and bought it for me, and I bought him quail eggs! I'm super stoked cause I'm hoping to have the eggs tomorrow if not then by monday (if the person I ordered them from comes thru!!!) I can't wait!
It's so exciting. We had gotten 6 quail earlier this year but a coon got them, so this time we're starting out with Eggs. Over all we'll have 50 quail eggs, we also have 4 pheasants (out of 12 that we started with), and 7 chickens! We started out with just 4 chickens and within a matter of a week we grew to 8 chickens, 12 pheasants, and 6 quail...Then thanks to coons and unknown events we shrunk but we're growing again!! I'm so excited!!!

Oh, I'm so jealous! I was at MJ's yesterday, but now I want to go back again today for all the fun. MJ, after our conversation yesterday I made a stop at the store myself and no more greys (for the moment). Pink does sure sound fun though! It's been awhile since I've gone that daring.
Yummy cherry jam!! One of the ladies that my hubby works with made cherry jam, and she adds cherry jello. Wowser is it good. The kids have even given up their normal PB & honey sandwiches for it.....that's saying a lot.

I wish I lived closer! I would grab littlemissred ( she lives a few miles from me) and we would do a road trip!
But can't right now as the Mom in law is not well. So you guys dye somebodys hair for me!
