His brother is Drumstick and his sister is Butterball! They were all supposed to be destined to be Thanksgiving yummies but they're like my feathered kids now! They hatched out on Easter morning and they're getting huge! I'm not sure what I want to do with them...I can't bring myself to eat Drumstick cause he's my favorite...and Butterball is a sweety too lol. The toms are getting old enough that they are "strutting" at each other so one has to go. Maybe I should get some pictures of them tomorrow...

Good morning!!! I had a hard time dragging myself out of bed this morning at seven... Guess I stayed up too late filling out entry forms for the fair. They're getting dropped off today.

My incubator keeps hovering between 99 and 102... I can't seem to keep it steady. Would it be better to get it to hover between 98 and 101? The humidity, yes I bought a humidity monitor this week, is steady at 56.

Good morning Sarah, I had trouble dragging out at 5:45 this am. Now I need to drag myself away from the computer and get some chores done.

I don't know anything about incubators so I can't help but I'm sure someone will.

Whew... 5:45? What time did you get to bed? I normally hit the sack between nine and ten but last night, staying up to fill out fair papers plus tossing in turning for a while before falling asleep kept me up until after midnight! I was way draggy this morning at seven. Oh, and I got a huge charlie horse in my calf when I jumped up to shut off the alarm! That was a wake-up call!
