if it is forced air.....
99 and 102 or 98 and 101 either are going to be okay. either way your chicks will hatch A. a bit late B. a bit early.

just keep an eye on them.

i have a hard time believing every hen in the known earth is exactly the same temp and humidity.

i actually cranked mine up a bit and like the results. i run them at 100.5 and the hatches are better.

Wow... I couldn't make it with that little of sleep!

Magnesium, huh? Maybe for tough ones, but those charlie horses usually don't last long enough for me to hobble to the medicine cupboard. I did have one once that, even after it was stretched out, ached for the whole day. I could have used something for that, but we were camping and didn't have much with us. That's actually why it was so bad... I was in the middle of the lake when I got it... in my calf again, and I had to swim back to shore before I could stretch it out. That was terrible.

I could have gone back to bed after DH left for work but I wanted to get on the BYC. Besides I hope to be tired enough to go to bed early tonight. I have an early eye appt. tomorrow in Big Rapids. Uggh, I HATE to get my eyes dialated!

Doing better. The kids I am babysitting today think it is a little funny that I fell of the disc swing. I know I must be getting old.

I only had my eyes dilated once, and I didn't think it was too bad... Weird holding my hand up to my face and not being able to focus on it, but not bad... Hope it goes well!

Oh, and I'm getting another sibling sometime end of December / beginning of January.

Another sibling.... How wonderful!!

I love babies. I wish my son and daughter in law would have a grandbaby for me.
I hate having my eyes dialated because then I won't be able to read and I LOVE to read. My sister is taking me so we will probably go shopping after. That is she will go shopping, look at just about everything while I get tired and find somewhere to sit.

Yay! It's going to be a while before I have eggs... especially because they'll be getting close to the right age smack dab in the middle of winter! I'll bet they hold off until spring. Enjoy those double-yolkers while they last!

If you get charlie horses and muscle cramps all the time I would suggest eating a banana once a day (or as often as possible) and drinking gatorade. Low Potassium can also make you more prone to muscle cramps and those are two good ways to get more potassium in your diet.

If you get these a lot you might want to get your magnesium and potassium checked by a Dr.

LOL see what happens when you work in a Lab...

I wouldn't say I get them a lot, no. Actually, before this morning, the last one I remember was the camping incident, and that's been... three years ago? I do get abdominal cramps quite often though... but my doc says it's the gall bladder. Ugh. My mom and my grandma both had to have theirs removed when they were in their twenties.

Canning jar alert! I just got back from TSC and all the canning supplies are on sale - all sizes 12 for 6.99. I've never seen new ones sell for less so I got as many as would fit in the back of my Yaris. (For some strange reason my DH drives the pickup to work and leaves me with the tiniest car imaginable (short of a SMART car of course.)
