The hustonn (Nancy/Steve) family is SORRY TO HAVE MISSED chicken stock also! We're gearing up for vacation next week/our new mom hens/and their chicks had to be separated even further apart....One of the hens kept jumping over the divider into the other's space with her chicks and then last night I found her in Trudy's house trying to get her off of her chicks....so we've relocated her to a smaller coop that we have...now the trick will be to see if she goes into the upstairs apartment at night! UGH - we've learned so much we'll be experts by the time next nesting season comes along next year! Have a great week everyone and again, we'll have to be cyber pals for now! Nancy

Everyone who attended Chickenstock and brought their children I must tell you that Hope, Granny and I were discussing how well behaved all of them were. If you raise your chickens as good as it appears that you are raising your children your flocks will thrive.

Hi, y'all. Had a wonderful time at Chickenstock. Ditto putting faces with names.
Wynette: A big thank you for making it all happen.
ShellyB1969 and Opa: Thank you for helping us solve the riddle of
the genderbender Wellie. I guess the user name and avatar are
appropos.
Opa: The smoked chicken was fabulous. I mean chops lickin' good.
Vicki2x2: Thank you for rounding out our Wyandotte collection.
They are truly beautiful birds.
MJ: Missed seeing you there. How 'bout next year?

It is so freaking cute!! I've got a bunny with papers! Can't believe that. She is so sweet. Got her in the cage with the other bunny, with wire in between. Thanks for hooking me up!

Good morning all. I certainly enjoyed yesterday at Chickenstock. Some mornings I would like to kill dog. Silly thing barks wanting out at 330am and now again a 600am. Oh well, you can't get much done if your sleeping so I guess I need to decide on doing something productive.

I am getting ready to go out and make a lot of noise setting up my new run

By the end of the show yesterday I was exhausted and could easily have gone home with a zillion birds

Good thing, just as I was about to say yes again my wife gave me the look. Caught myself there before I was going to get in trouble!

It was great meeting everyone !!!!!!!!!

Glad to hear everyone had a great time yesterday at ChickenStock. I would have loved to seen everyone and especially Opa's / Granny's Flock of Multi-colored Chickens! Maybe someday there could be one closer to the UP. I would love to meet everyone in person.

I wish we could have gone. We were terribly busy getting ready to take the critters to the fairgrounds today. Although, I probably could have brought the chickens and someone there could have helped Becky wash them (Billy is still afraid of the chickens!).

(Does anyone know how long it took to blow dry 3 large red roosters???? Becky asked Billy to help and he looked at her like she was crazy!)

(He didn't even fit in the 5 gallon buckets we were using!)
