Sure makes working outside kind of hard!

I think I already mentioned, I only like it to rain at night, could someone please make a note of that and not let it happen again?!

Hi Vicki. Weather looks kind of eeeew, so I think we'll be cleaning house and getting ready for back to school. Shop, shop, shop

YUCK. We are supposed to go visit family Sunday for a bbq. It's been so bad with mosquitos that I think regardless if it rains or not we'll have the "bbq" indoors.

What are you up to?

We actually have the kids help us with the canning. They help with the picking and juicing. They actually have fun too. Our parents can with us it's an anual family event. We all work together and split what we can. Even freezing all the sweet corn is done together even the kids. They look forward to trying to beat their Dad on how many ears of corn they can eat. This is all done in the parents garage, we bring the old stoves in and hook them up to the propane tanks put the tables up and get to work. Doesn't heat up the house either this way.

The same, took the kids shopping for school supplies, new shoes, some school clothes. Maya needs her physical for Kindergarten still, plus the usual running, therapies, etc. They can't wait to start school!

College started already for the older two, but it is the first year for the second one, and she is so unorganized, ugh! She tries hard, but man! She does have ADD and no longer takes meds, so it is just something she has to work on. She doesn't think ahead more than 10 minutes, then calls for Mom to rescue her.

I just keep telling myself, patience, soon she will be in a routine and everything will be fine.

Probably more than you wanted to know!!
