So...Good Afternoon, Michigan!

I was VERY lazy this morning. Still sick... sicker, really. So I cuddled up on the sofa with the youngest after dropping big sister at school -- and fell asleep. I felt a little better when I finally got moving earlier but am back to not feeling so hot now. Unfortunately, while working from home gives me that flexibility I'll now be up until all hours of the night catching up.

Hi everyone. Haven't had much time to visit here lately. All is good in Marine City. Our comets have been laying for a while and now the wellies are starting. I am selling our first eggs today.

Okay MJ-----am in the line of those that are coveting your KA. How awesome. No more kneading my hand, unless you want to. The KA is on my list of dream kitchen items, for sure.

What is this horse event in Metamora? Is it like a horse expo? We have horses, I love horses, so please share. I won't be able to make it anyway, but I can store the info away in my mind for next year and I can tell my friends about it. There are a bunch of horse 4-H mom's that are pals and we always try to get together and make it to Birch Run, Lansing stallion expo and such.

I'd like to wish Hillbillyhen and MJ a belated happy birthday since I wasn't able to do it yesterday. Just got home a hour ago. Looks like many of you have been sick while I have been gone. Hopefully you are all feeling better, or at least no longer contagious. Glad to be back.

Well be there all morning, then to Dryden's Fall Fest then off to Flint for the "flashback" event at the FIA. Busy weekend. Hopefully the weather will hold out until after dark.

Well of to bed, still not feeling very well. Thought I was getting better but then tonight my ear is hurting something fierce.
