Good morning Everyone!

I finally got to exersice this morning. Feeling quite good with 2 days of antibotics in me. Amazing how out of shape just one week off does to me!

That thing on craigs lists looks like it would break eggs. An apple washer sounds more like it.

I am off to make 2 apple crisps and then take them to the church to bake them. While at church I will make no bake cookies too. We ran out of propane on Saturday, just use it for the oven/stove and fireplace in the house. In Jon's shop we have a furnuce that uses propane too.
Anyways, got to get these desserts done for a funeral dinner at church this afternoon.

Have a great day! Hope everyone gets lots of eggs today!!!

Good morning, fellow Michiganders!

My horses and mini donkeys are SOOO happy! They got to go out today! They've been in since the awful cold snap we got. I prefer not to blanket them in the bad weather; better for them to get used to the cold and grow a nice, fuzzy coat! I actually had one kick the wall as I was leading her stall-mate next to her out. She's never been known to do that; think she was just being impatient. Still ticked me off, though!

I'll have more time tonight since I cleaned stalls already...so my plan is to enlarge the dog kennel area for my 21 babies in the basement. They're now 4 1/2 and 3 1/2 weeks; I don't think I'll EVER raise winter babies again. WHAT a hassle! But...I'll change my mind when they start laying in May or June, I'm sure!

That coop that Sam built for me is just awesome...It's not in use yet, but I absolutely can't WAIT to see how it works! It's built so professionally, and just cute as a button! I wanted to paint a chicken on the side (I'm no artist....) just for kicks, but I hate to ruin it!

Anywho...just wanted to say good morning, and hope you all have a wonderful day!!

My wife has the day off (so do I but then I am the boss) so she and her friend are going to the "salon" it's hair day. She goes about once a month and always comes back appearing a little different than when she left.

I've learned after all these years, that whatever she has done to her hair, when she comes home....to tell her it looks Fantastic!

You crack me up, Steve!

DH and I have a rule: if you ask, I'm gonna tell ya, and I'm gonna be honest. We've both learned over the years to just not ask if we don't want to hear the truth.

We've also learned there are a whole lot of ways to say the same thing...

All the talk of somewhere warmer has me dreaming of one of the things I hope to do before I die: go on an ALASKAN cruise. BRRRR!!! Can't be any worse than it is outside now, right? Has anyone ever gone on one? I hear tell it's absolutely, breathtakingly beautiful...

Thanks, citalk! I'm HOPING to get in gear one of these weeks and delve into using the plunge router I got for Christmas for sign making. DH got me a DVD to get me started and everything, I can get patterns for free online...just haven't had the time to get going with it. Probably won't start until summer!

Steve, that sounds like our house! i have come home with blue, red, pink, yellow and black hair. my hubby loves it, because he is color blind and he can see the really bright colors well.

he only freaks out if i let my hair grow long. he likes it short.

yummy food alert...homemade chicken pot pie with puff pastry crust for dinner tonight.

making two loaves of bread right now...one filled with cinnamon, golden and brown raisins, currants and sugar. one plain for sandwiches.

My wifes parents did the Alaska cruise and then a train ride somewhere there.

He is a wimp, he can't stand the cold even if it is 70 out, and they absolutely loved the cruise. They have probably done close to 10 cruises in different parts of the world and they both say it is THE best cruise of them all.

Just dress warm and you'll love it.

MJ, I am also color blind, kept me from becoming a Navy frogman (diver) but I can spot a deer in the woods or field before anybody else can.

Wynette, do they have patterns for a sign that says something to the effect "Farm fresh eggs for sale"?

I am from the 70's, I love long straight hair on a woman. My wife wears hers short too so.....

Happy wife, Happy Life.
