Holy Moly it is soooo windy! I love the warm air and sunshine, but this wind is crazy!

I had to share the early birthday gift I got from one of the daycare moms today! It is soooo cool! It is kinda hard to tell from the picture, but it is an deep oval bowl.

I have a funny Opa story to share...
The other day i was reading and posting here, and my 'feeling neglected' husband came snooping over. He looked at the monitor and the only post visible was Opa's. I was typing a reply. He says, "Who is that? Your boyfriend?", and motioned toward Opa's avatar. I was irritated for being interrupted, and said, "Nooo that's Sam- what's his last name?" (I had a total brain fart). I was muttering and motioning toward the monitor. He got huffy and said, "I have no idea what your boyfriends last name is." and walked away.

And then I remembered. "Elliot! Its Elliot!". He wouldnt answer me. However, my son walks in the living room and says- "Your boyfriends' name is Elliot?"

My chickens were out in the backyard all day without supervision. They escaped their yard (ha! They barged out when I was trying to make my way in their gate-carrying water) and I had to go to work. I tried herding them back in, they were not having any of it. They wouldnt come when i called, like I had treats, either.

So, I said "FINE! But if you get eaten or leave the yard and get eaten, its not my fault!" then I text(ed?) everyone in my family and told them not to let the dogs out when they got home because the chickens were out.

Brats put themselves to bed before I came home- and they were nice enough to lay their eggs in their nest boxes also, instead of hiding them throughout the yard.

Thanks everyone, yes it is a crazy busy week for us, Big Russ' B-day, then our 14th wedding anniversary is tomorrow and my b-day(33rd) is thurs!
Going to help the kids with homework...have a great night everyone!

Hi everybody what a nice day we had today, now I have a question for ya'll Does anyone have any fertile bantam eggs around lansing? mutt eggs preferably as I can not afford much. I asked in the hatching egg section but no one has answered me. I can pick them up on friday if you do just pm me and let me know a price please. I'm sorry I asked here. I hope it's okay.

Yes, it was a good day. Even got to drive home with the windows cracked because it was getting too warm in the car!!!

The girls enjoyed the time they were out after work. Looks like they are in bed too, and I gotta go lock them out.
