Good Morning All-

My husband decided to call off work, and has been on the computer all morning.

Not all of us have that luxury of calling off whenever we want, so I am off to work.

Hope you all have a wonderful day- try and stay warm. I am so tired of this coldness. My girls are probably going to protest and stop laying again.

Steve, hope your son is feeling better today.

Supposed to be a cold one again....better break out the union suit!

6 inches of white stuff tomorrow, guess I better make sure the tractor is ready to plow snow!

One day closer to spring warmth I guess.

Boy, its quiet this morning. Kids have no school for the next couple of days -- Mid winter break. Kids today spend less time in school then ever. DD had to go to Marquette for quiz bowl, DH is at camp, DS is still sleeping. Thought I'd catch up from yesterday. MJ - how the peeps doing? Have a good one everybody!

More snow here. Just got up and getting ready to go out and feed the chickens.

I talk to mine, too. With a bunch of Buffs, I find naming them hard since I can't tell who's who, but they are the Ladies and kids and chooks and chicky snoodles, etc. I always greet them because they always greet me so happily.

My cat is making me crazy though - he has cabin fever and is running around the house yowling. Oh, spring, do hurry...

Today I set eggs under the broody. Then the wait begins. It was so much easier the first time when the hen hid away (before the snows, but just barely) and showed up with all those cuties.

okay, i am feeling punky this morning! there are turkeys at the door calling for food. no joke. they're at the door.

cristy...the hatch is going AWESOME! some still working, but almost done! there are a bunch of babies!

Had to chuckle about MJ's lack of her suit. I was thinking maybe you should get some footie jammies! He wouldn't take it if you got it in pink.

First couple of years we were married Judy had footie, one piece jammies.

I hated them danged things.

Morning my crazy chicken friends!

Not warm out there this morning. I think one of my Orps is getting broody!

Hopefully she stays put and hatches me some babies. I am not sure, but I think it is the same momma that hatched babies in Nov! What a great girl, she might just get an ankle braclet for all her hard work!

Good Morning All!!!
I forgot about it getting so cold and didn't let the water run So guess what we have? NO WATER!!!

Now we have a heater going and hoping it thaws out soon.
My hubby can't get out in this with his arthritis the way it is, so our son gets to be the guinie pig. He is a great help. He has been trying to get his vehicles running. He has two and both are broke down.

I have to make it out to check on my little silkie to see if she has any babies yet. I want to bring them in the house.
We have cats too. 4 of them. None of them go outside. We trained them, that we can leave our door wide open and they will not go out. We watched a special on cats one time and all the things they just kill outside for the heck of it. They are the worst killers of the cat family! Of course ours are just fat lazy lovers.
Matter of fact, my black one with the 7 toes is crawling on my lap now. They are all fixed. Thank God.
Sun is shining, things can get better soon! Myrna
