babsboy It has been a hard winter thats for sure!

As soon as all the daycare kids get picked up I am off to the grocery store. I skipped a week so this time I need a ton. Friday night grocery shopping how sad.

Hope everyone has a great night!

Hey gang-

well, I couldnt stop thinking about it, so I went and bought that guinea pig. heh heh.

Walked in with it, and my husband said, "Why do you have a guinea pig?" I told him, "Because it has my hair."
(duh- isnt that a great reason to buy a guinea pig?)

Well, when he saw it- kids too- they just laughed. There is no denying it. Its fate.

Went to the grocery store with only my 11 yr old DD. We got a ton of food and stuff. Way to much money spent. How come everything has to cost so much?
I am ready for a cold beverage.

Man miss a day or two on here and 5 hours later ya might catch up.

Steve hope your son is recovering well, I will keep him in my prayers.

DayCareMom tell Russ that those goats can be a tax deduction for the day care. Entertainment value there. How could he say no. I am serious I know a lady who runs a day care and you would not believe what she wrote off. Might work.

Stay warm and safe and please keep that white stuff below the bridge we got enough of it on Wens and Thurs for 3 winters.

Man I sure wish that ground hog would of came out of that hole willingly instead of kicking, screaming and biting.

Silly people that was a wild swan chase. It was just fine flew away as soon as I was about 5 feet away on the ice that was making very bad sounds time to loss weight! I had flashes of standing in knee deep ice water thank the good lord it held

Did I read new guinea pig! I love the little squkers! They are so darn cute

DCM I love goats and a fainting one to boot to much fun!

Cavies are fascinating creatures. I got my son David one when he was ten and he continued to raise them for several years. Even after he became an adult to continued to keep them. I used to enjoy how many of them would whistle when you would come in. He once had a couple that he let roam in his house at will. As soon as he and Amy would get home the guinea pigs would be right at their feet wanting attention.

ooh my doxie would love for me to let them roam...she would have them for snacks.

Well the great thing is, it gets along with the other pig, Patches. yay!~ didnt want to have to seperate them, seperate cages, etc. He whistles, too. love that. I think patches was the only pig I have ever seen that never whistles or wheeks- nothing. Nice to have piggie noises.

So, I think this snow storm is going to mess up my dinner plans. I have gotten a big group of people supposed to meet at Joe's Crab Shack for dinner- at five thirty. We will see how badly the snow is at that time before I call it all off.

My hens think it is Spring. They are already fussing and cackling up a storm out there- and there is no sun yet.

Hope you all have a great day!

Hi Everyone!

My oldest 2 daughters and I are heading up to MSU for a day long poultry workshop. Last years was really good so this years should be great too.

I am hoping the snow passes up by. I am past ready for spring!

Have a great day.
Sarah
