Our hunting has been dismal since Ray's grandma sold the family farm. Where Ray hunts now had too many people last season. I want our own land!!! The frustrating thing is I have several deer that bed on our side lots, lol... They look at us over the fence and stick their tongues out at us, lol.

My husbands granny had 40 acres there in Hillsdale- but when she passed away, my hubbys mom sold it. They still hunt out there, and if I name enough of the people out there he hunts with- you just may know them. I will ask him road names when he comes home.
He and his brothers go out there for a couple weeks for Deer Season, and again at Turkey season. They stay in campers on a family friends property.

We have goofy neighbors who feed them and put out salt licks for them... a few years ago it wouldn't have been a big deal, but now there are more houses. The deer cross the road, back and forth for food, salt and water from the lake. They are fat and happy and like to stand in the road and give cars the raspberry's!

Can't wait to let them chooks out today..... they're gonna love it! PLUS I got a big ole bucket of scraps for em!

Got 2 Turkeys yesterday! OMG... they're so sweet and calm. I don't know now if I'll be able to eat them come fall!

Maybe they'll end up being a pair... and then I'll just HAVE to keep them! LOL
