Hola Keleka!! Sorry to see yer back, vacations are never long enough

Had Hattie outside yesterday. Chickflick has to help. She can make her walk and when she picks her up she dos'nt fight. Must know what she can get away with when I'm the only one there

!!! She was a little lost and one of my BR hens attacked her. She is such a tank that I don't even think she noticed

. When I threw out wheat bread and bologna everybody was there to get their share.
Have to get back to work, Bummer.

Just got back from a long walk. Like one hr and 15 min. It's beautiful out there!! Let Kristen's chickens out into the yard and mine are out free ranging. Perfect ! Everyone happy. Dogs are tired and I'm hungry!! Enjoy the day.......

Sorry, but days like today just make me feel so much better!! Feel guilty not taking Corkey, but he'll just have to wait for mamma to take him!! It was so peaceful at the park, and the birds were singing like mad! Just makes your day!

Ok, so I got overly excited about candling my eggs and once all the babies were asleep I snuck in the closet and went to work! Oh my gosh! It was amazing! I could see the little buggers having dance parties inside! I am in total amazement!

Crystal-3 of the 4 cochin bantams were dancing and happy 1 I was unsure the maran eggs are so dark it is hard to tell. I left them all in and will check again next time!

Oh... how beautiful it is today! (With an apology for those who cannot yet get out and enjoy it!) My chickens had a field day! LOL There was a baby shower yesterday and my Aunt had a bowl of scraps for them.... they were happy as could be

Hi All!!!

Another great day to be outside or inside with the windows open for some fresh air. The chickens sure love running around with it being so nice.
Decided to be suzy homemaker and get some cleaning done in here. Got the kitty litter boxes cleaned, cleaned the baby chicks pen, washed laundry, now washing down walls and stuff. If nothing else it will smell clean anyway.

Heres hoping and praying that all of your eggs in the incubators will hatch out healthy little fuzz balls.

The ones we did hatch out are doing so well. All of the grandkids want to find names for them all. And some of the selections they made, I would never remember!
I need to get back to work. Enjoy everyone!

sounds like a lot of people having good days today! great!

i had a wonderful visit with BYC'er blueberrylu and her kids. it was a fun time and her kids are totally smart, well behaved and kind.

Good Evening Everyone!

Chicken dinner was good. Baked pieces in the oven with seasoning salt on the skin. rice and green beans from the garden to top it off.

Chickens had a blast outside, so did the puppy. He had to get tied up, kept going and getting scrapes out of the chickens pile. this afternoon he ripped open one of Nathan's messy diapers. (they go in a grocery sack and on the back porch. Hubby takes to work and puts in the dumpster every day.) So that mess is cleaned up and Leo isn't gonna lick me any time soon!!!!

The kids went for a hike and rode bike up and down the driveway. A lot of fun.

I am off now to take the oldest two to 4-H horse quizbowl practice. Competition is this Saturday in Peck MI.

Have a great evening. Tonight in the west sky you can see a saletilite and the space ship. Time is between 9:45-9:00pm. They will appear fast and leave fast. Heard it on the news tonight.
