Good morning, Friends. I am off to UofM with my 17 yr. old daughter. She has not walked without a brace in over two years. Some things have been corrected with surgery and we are having a second opinion today prior to what is hopefully the last surgery. Then, for a treat we are heading to MJ's to play! My kids are on spring break, so this will be our treat for the week!

Good morning everyone. Praying all goes well for your daughter catray. It was so good seeing you again yesterday.
MJ you have some beautiful eggs on their way thanks to the poultry express (Catray).
Hope everyone has a great day and all the weasels, minks, skunks, coons and dogs stay away from our precious chickens. OH, and the hawks! That is what I am having trouble with. I am not so afraid of them getting the chickens but I fear for my little babies, 11 chihuahuas. If I lost one of them I would be totally devistated.

Hope everyone is having a good (chilly) morning .... what happened to "out like a lamb?" My lambchops are frozen!

Peeps in the brooder from FF&H are alive and well ... hope to visit there again and see if they got some new Araucana/EE pullets.

Have a handful of banty eggs to give a friend with a female bantie hen and a male duck, a close couple brought together by the loss of their partners and unable to have chicklings of their own. I wonder if the drake will just shake his head when frizzled peeps pop out ...

I know, I know, on the TSC 'bator, but hubby wants to try it, and we've little to lose. So that has to get picked up and set up so we can put the Brahma eggs in Wednesday.

Busy week! (It would figure *today* I get stuck home in the morning with a sick kid. Could have used this down time yesterday, huh? LOL)

Cat, i am in agreement with these prayers. Rick and me just got done praying over this and we feel very calm about it. we love you and your family too!

Sam, i wonder if Cat can make her voice as deep as yours when she says hi to me? wouldn't that be interesting???

swampducks...you have a good point...16 gauge first, coal shovel for the 'removal' and a few good whacks just to feel good about it. it didn't come back last night, as far as we could tell. no prints in the mud.

Good Morning All!

2 more days and we should have some chicks in the bator! Quite excited! Rachel wants to candle one more time, got home too late last night to do it then.

Busy day as usual. Homeschool this morning. Jack has preschool this afternoon and tonight the kids have their Family and Friends ballet performance.

Blue Moon the best time to go to the outlet mall is during the week, just before closing! No one is there and the employees are glad to see a customer I dislike shopping and avoid it as much as possible!
