I can't seem to be able to make Pad thai at home. I have tried a couple of recipes but it just is never the same. I did learn to make a pretty mean crab ragoon but now I wish I could figure out Bankok Peppers cheese rolls. Yummy. I also found a mean bourbon chicken sauce (in a bottle) bad bad. I know but when I make homemade it just is'nt the same either. Problem is I can only get the sauce from Florida, and now I got my mom hooked on it too! ROADTRIP. I can only dream. That long of a roadtrip with 6 is just crazy.

You did not put me to sleep I just got caught up in researching composting. Does anyone do worm composting. I think it could be interesting and great for my garden. The concern I have is with 5 boys the worms will be doing more playing than working. I am also concerned with the worms crawling out and invading my house. Guess it can't be any worse than being invaded by kids right?

Good job folks---from the time I left the posting marathon until this morning we got on over a hundred extra posts!! Not the big goal, but a definite step in the direction of keeping our social domination out of all the states!!

Okay---off to finish getting the kids up and ready for church.

Sam---where do you find all the other cutie smilies?? I love the new coffee one you have on this morning!!

Good morning everyone. Boy what a great weekend. Yesterday got 7 Buff chicks up in Escanaba - up by where ZooKeeper lives. I've got eggs in the bator. Tomorrow TSC gets their chicks in. Next Saturday, there's a poultry swap meet in town and I'm off of work. Can things get any better!! I can get all the chickies I want!!

A lady opened her refrigerator and saw a rabbit sitting on one of the shelves. "What are you doing in there?" She asked. The rabbit replied, "This is a Westinghouse, isn't it?", To which the lady answered, "Yes." "Well," the rabbit said, "I'm westing."

Ok, here are some answers from variaus famous people as to why the chicken crosses the road....

Roseanne:
Urrrrrp. What chicken?

Jack Benny:
I'm thinking. ... I'm thinking

James Cagney:
It crossed twice. The dirty double-crosser.

Darwin:
Chickens, over great periods of time, have been naturally selected in such a way that they are now genetically predisposed to cross roads

Grandpa:
In my day, we didn't ask why the chicken crossed the road. Someone told us that the chicken had crossed the road, and that was good enough for us.

Ernest Hemingway:
To die. In the rain.

Karl Marx:
It crossed twice. First time, it was a tragedy; second time, a farce.

Chico Marx:
It couldn't. It was a rubber chicken.

Groucho Marx:
Chicken? What's all this talk about chicken? Why, I had an uncle who thought he was a chicken. My aunt almost divorced him, but we needed the eggs.

Harpo Marx:
Honk! Honk! Honk!

Jackie Mason:
Whaddaya want, it should just stand there?

Colonel Sanders:
I missed one?

Good morning everyone!

Had a real busy day yesterday, went to the eye Dr. and he is still amazed a old man like me (50) still has perfect vision.

My blood pressure has dropped to 119/61 ( I think that was it) Judy knows for sure. I told her my animal therapy was working out. Watching them t night after work is my form of relaxation.

Then I finished building that 5 x 6 "breeder pen" in the new henhouse for Louis, Lacey and Lilly. Louis is starting to get those "urges" like watching a 15 year old boy hit on a 30 year old woman.

Fastened my dog kennel brooder above the nesting boxes which works well and doesn't take up any space.

Cleaned out all the manure from the animals pens and rototilled that into a new garden spot. 4 big wheelbarrow loads, but everything is super clean now.

Then we had a chicken BBQ, home grown chicken of course, for all the family. Those big cornish X 10 lbs. "churkeys" feed a lot of folks.

Then I watched my alma mater advance in the NCAA championship! Go State!

I also took pictures of Aiden with the chickens.

Good morning! On my way out to fix the duck pen so it will actually keep them IN LMAO Yesterday on the trial run they found a way out and were all roaming at large with the 2 turkeys hot on their tracks...

Silly birds. They had to spend the night in the big coop... hope that went well enough. They all adjusted pretty quickly to the 8 pullets I put out with them yesterday.... so hopefully the 4 ducks and 2 turkeys will fit right in!

One last little chick managed to hatch from my eggs I set in the bator.... but I won;t know for sure how well it is until I see whether or not it is still alive this morning

Little thing just didn't seem right and it pipped on the wrong end of the egg and had a doozy of a time hatching. I hope it's ok though... was the only EE egg of mine to make it through my DS messing with the power strip.
