I want to thank you so much for your hospitality. We had a wonderful afternoon with you!!! I love your house... Your chickens are gorgeous!! Also thanks for the loan of the incubator.....cant wait to put it to use!! Also can't wait to use the vanilla....

Shar...i see that Cat has brought you into the world of incubating. you're so in for it. you'll be just looking at every egg you see asking yourself, "Self, I wonder if that egg is fertile?"

you'll be in the grocery store just staring at the egg and dairy case and drooling....

Hi all!

Sorry to hear about the chicken/dog problems M2all, that really stinks! I have had some of those problems and it really hurts. Just figure out another system, maybe a second gate, so the dogs, if accidentally let out, still can't get through, and try again.

Been a busy day here. Got up as usually, did chores, started doing stuff around here. Got a call from hubby, his brother called, could I come pick up his 4 year old, they were having "problems and seeing a lawyer" and didn't want him around all that tension. So I loaded up my youngest two and drove across the state and back. Home again and trying to catch up! Why is driving so tiring?!

I have a huge pantry filled with a large assortment of vegetables, rice & pasta dinners, 30' of shelving with home canned foods, two 23 cu ft freezers filled to overflowing with wild turkey, venison, caribou, beef, pork, chicken, a variety of sausages, home made pasties, smoked chicken, whole chickens stuff with crawfish & dressing, and the list goes on. Then the refrigerator/freezer in the kitchen is packed and yet would you belive that Granny and I can't figure out what we want to fix for supper?
