I just returned from soldans ...needed chick feed ...all of their chicks are sold out...more coming in tomorrow.

I felt bad cuz the poor little turkeys are sitting there waiting.....and of course my kids begging me big time lol i almost caved

This is our lone RIR of course named Red

Then we have the new silver laced wyandottes

and the two new bantams with Frizzy

the little bantam on the right has feathered legs! Too cute!
Big Russ just shook his head, I think he is in shock!

Thank you all so very much for the kind words. I cant bear to even look out the window right now- I cant believe my Ashley and Gurkey arent there with there babies. I am so disgusted. I need to clarify though- my eleven year old is my daughter, my pit is my sons dog- my almost sixteen year old sons'. My eleven year old has adhd and epilepsy- I should have doublechecked behind her after she fed the birds. I should have but I was running late for work. Its my fault.

I cant even stand it. I guess maybe I will look for someone with some bearded silkie eggs and some turken eggs. However, I am so crushed and I am not sure if my heart is in it. I have Sam's number for a hotwire- and oh yes, I will be installing one. Wonder how many times I will zap myself?

Yes, the one on the left is the one from you, the lighter one on the right has feathered legs too. I just typed it wrong!

Shar....there is a BYC cookbook in the works. if you want a turkey, just shout. i have a bunch in the bator right now.

we had super yummy lasagna for dinner with a recipe i made myself after trying a couple different versions. there WAS sourdough bread that was SUPPOSED to be with supper, BUT Hannah ate it!

so we had whole wheat rolls.

Chicks are in!

Charlotte TSC got their shipment of chicks and ducks in.

No I didn't buy any, I have all I need...however Judy has been suggesting she would like a baby duck. They will only sell you ducks if you buy 6 or more.....she just wants one.

My 1st batch of meat birds arrived today!
