Morning all, must be nice to have no snow, at least we are starting to see some ground. I just can't wait for that S to leave, but then we got mud so never perfect but give me mud anyday over ice and S.


Anybody see the thread Miss P started on the egg craft, she has Martha beat by a mile LOL. Now to find some Maren eggs to craft with. All I got here is Orps and Dorkings and some mixed babies that are not laying yet. They are looking really good and out of 19 I am pretty sure I only have 7 or 8 roo's. I am happy with those odds.

I think I am going to break out the hova's at least 1 more time, I have 2 of those and 2 little giants. I have had great luck with both of them.

Our fur and feather swaps are starting up here the second one is this coming Sat in Marinette WI. Anyone from the UP going. I am thinking of going to help the breeder I socialize shelties for bring the 2 pups she has left here. But with Easter coming she might just be on her own. I have pound cake to bake for strawberry short cake.

Hope ya all are very warm and dry with no wind today. I dream of the weathers in the 70's with no wind and full sun. This spring I may just have to break down and buy mud boots.

Good morning everyone! Have to go pay my 100 boat docking fee to the association that received our huge lot fees just last month. argh. It is really pretty out and so nice to have my run drying out!


Is anyone looking for pullets? I have a BRxAustralorp and Delaware. BR cross is 5 weeks old and the Del is about 8 weeks old. I am worried about how much space I don't have.

They are so pretty, I don't want to re home them, but am worried about picking when they are big enough to add in with the big girls. Still praying about a bigger run. If Pearl, who I have renamed Miss Bossy pants would behave better, lol, I would relax. She is a "sassy hen" for sure! (and even though she is naughty, I love her little fiestyness!)
