The SUN is out in Fowlerville MI!!!!

We just had a huge cargo military helicopter fly right over our house. I heard it coming for several minutes, so we all were out side when it flew really low over us. The boys were quite excited!!! Nathan, my 2 year old wants it to come back:lol:

Well the sun is out!! Cool!! The geese are still working on hatching, but that is supposed to be normal for geese, the holes are getting bigger.

Dh just called, he is on his way home, guess it is now officially the "end" of the month, because the just laid off everyone that was left here in Michigan, and that is permanent, at least until the economy turns around. Oh well, not like it was a surprise. Just bummed we won't be moving this summer now. Guess I had better get working on fixing up those coops they way I want now, since we are staying!! ONWARD AND UPWARD!!!!

Hang in there Vicki----------you at least are in good company with all the rest of us in the economic jam. I pray every day for things to improve, especially here in Michigan. We've been lower than a worms belly for too long.

Vicki - if it helps I've found out that things do get better. My husband has been laid off for 3 months - his company made pistons for GM. We've found out that we do without things we didn't need and we spend more Family time doing stuff together. If nothing else, its brought us as a family closer. That is something I'm very grateful for.

Thanks guys, you are the best!! I should mention, for years my husband worked in the oilfield, it was feast or famine, so we learned how to make the best of the things over the years. Either we had the money but not the time, or the time but not the money!! My husband is a hard worker and a good provider, I know we will be fine. We might not get a great job right away, like this one was, but we will not starve and we will have each other and that is what is important!!

SO!! Who wants to buy some eggs or chickens???

This morning I went and did some minor repairs on a customer's house and now it's time to do somethings around my place. I do need to take some pictures of the new 3 compartment rollout nest I just built. I'm pretty happy how it turned out. Then I have to try and finish the garden fencing today.

wow. it has been a couple of crazy days lately for a bunch of you!

glad that you feel better Ellen!

Boy you guys sure are chatty! Took me forever to catch up!

Took my 2 little cowgirls grocery shopping today, we went to 3 stores and had no crabbing! Once we got home we played outside until lunch and then back outside until nap time. Once they are up again we are heading back out! I love warm weather!
