Hi all,
I've been an infrequent poster for a while now, but I just thought I poke my head in here a minute. Looks like everyone came through the winter pretty good. I'm glad it's warming up now, they're talking 70's tomorrow. We started getting eggs over Easter, and I've been eating them almost as fast as the birds lay them. Any events or anything coming up? Swap meets? Sales? I'm just glad to be able to spend a decent amount of time outside these days. I feel like a bear that's been hibernating.

Hey everybody!

I've lurked and posted here a few times. Just wanted to let you all know that there are some new babies running around here near Eaton Rapids. We got part of our order from the Eaton Farm Bureau Co-op, with the rest arriving next week. So far, we have 3 buff orpingtons, 2 African geese, 4 fawn & white runner ducks and 6 assorted bantams. I posted more pictures on the raising baby chicks thread, but thought you might like to see what we got too. I have no idea what kind the bantams are, but am hoping they are not all roosters... someone told me that the banty roosters are mean little guys (?)

first, get the Ruby Red Slippers out.
put on both shoes. click heals 3 times. not 2, not 4, 3!
say, chickens go home 3 times.
