Morning all!!

Who ordered this rain and gloom again?! People, Michigan is depressing enough right now, we don't need any help!! Of course, it wouldn't be MI if we had NORMAL weather!!

Good news!!

Hubby found a new job, started this morning, great news, same union, so our insurance, benefits, pension, etc will stay the same and never miss a beat!! GIANT PRAISES!!

It is not what he would like to be doing, but hey, it is a job, and that in itself, it is amazing!!

Bunnymom- Miss Jayne has a thread on how to upload pics for your avatar, she is a amazing that way!

I am going to the Imlay City swap, gluten for punishment I guess!!

Thanks MJ!! I can't believe we are so fortunate!! I am also lucky to be married to such a good man!! It was partly because he is such a good worker that he was hired so quickly! He contacted two people he had worked with in the past and both offered him jobs on the spot. Their busy season is coming up, winter will be slow, but at least we will be eating for a while!!

I hope to sell a few things at the swap, need to sell my extra hatchlings. I need to get a website going, but not that great at doing that. Anyone know how to get one going? I could maybe do updates to one, not sure, after it was up. I would love to have a nice one to show off my beautiful birds!

Morning all!

OMG Vicki...I'm going to the swap, too! WE MUST MEET! What time will you be there? I'm just going to see all the pretty chickies...definitely not bringing any home...I've got enough. I should probably be taking a few to sell!

Well, I'm off to get some chickens ready to ship out today. I'm getting pretty good at this whole shipping thing.

Well, just found out it is not through the union after all, not for the drivers, just the operators. While he can do both, they only have a driver position open, so for now, no union, so we will eventually switch insurance when ours runs out. BUT AGAIN, NOT COMPLAINING, HE HAS A JOB!!

That is such great news, Vicki!! What a relief!!
Kristen aka Krisrose and I are going to the swap, also. We need to wear name tags that identify us, so we can meet, or hide from each other as the case may be!

I don't plan on bringing anything home, but love to look at all the different breeds. Out to lunch, it'll be good. Suppose to rain this week end, so a good way to spend the day. Oh, Good Morning!
