Ouch----sorry to hear about your knee, Derek. At least you did it doing something you like instead of tripping in your yard or such. My family is big into hockey. Craig has played his whole life, and this year my oldest dd and ds played on the Vassar hockey league. Craig was asst coach, and then played on the adult league. He really misses it!!!!

MJ--how are you feeling today, my dear?

Yep today was a good day. I got to met Brenda and then get new chicks. How can you beat that?

I didn't even know that I wanted bantam spangled hamburgs until I got there. I wound up with 4 or these 3 week old birds.

Hooray! Hooray! Hubby built me new nest boxes for my girls. I didn't even know he was doing it! Surprise! Surprise! Just sitting here laughing because five years ago I'd have never thought I'd be soooo excited about something like this. Five years ago --- make it even two years ago. LOL

vicki2x2 pm'd you in regards to your BLRW.

I'm jealous of all y'all! I had to go back to work today after spring break last week.

All your talk of new chicks and ducks and goslings and no new babies coming this way until June. I'm living vicariously through BYC. How tragic is that?!

Seriously though, I'm happy for everyone - keep the pictures coming! (and welcome to everyone new to the MI thread.)

He's got more, lots more and some are even a little older.
The next sunny day I'm going to get the Bantam Orpingtons that I got from you out and take their picture. They are beautiful birds and I think the sun would really show off the shading on the feather edges. There is no way we can ever post to many pictures of pretty birds.
