He's got more, lots more and some are even a little older.
The next sunny day I'm going to get the Bantam Orpingtons that I got from you out and take their picture. They are beautiful birds and I think the sun would really show off the shading on the feather edges. There is no way we can ever post to many pictures of pretty birds.
Maybe next time I go there I'll leave DS and DH at home so I can shop! I was in a rush when I was there...just in and out. Probably a good thing though...there's no telling what I would've came home with! 16 in one day was enough!

You do know where I live. You could just pop in and see them in real time. They are so precious!!!!!!!! I had no intention of getting bantams. Now I just love them.
I may just have to try to get my antique hunk of junk digital camera out in the morning and take a picture or two if it cooperates with me. I wish my bantums would stay this small forever. They are just too cute!
Good Mornin', another morning starts a little on the cold and dreary side but it's still going to be a nice day. I just came in from checking the new chicks and temps are right where I wanted them. I think I need to spend part of today thinking on how to best build a brooder with adjustable heat and a cleanout tray. Lost one chick last night but all the rest look good. Considering that I got them mere hours after hatching I sort of expected that I might loose a bird or two. The 3 week old Hamburgs really look good. I thought briefly about going to Imlay City but decided that it wouldn't be a prudent thing to do. I might find a bird that I don't think I could live without.
I sure glad that the nice weather we just had didn't convince me to plant anything. I've always waited until Mothers Day to start planting. First the plants I raising from seed go in, and then I wait until Memorial Day to put in my tomatoes, peppers and the like. Even with waiting until that late date I still often have to cover them to prevent frost. Looks like that's still a prudent planting schedule; I just heard the weatherman talking about the possibility of snow tonight. Then it's going to be in the 70's by the weekend. Typical Michigan weather. Eight months of winter, four months of tough sledding.
ETA: Sorry, I forgot to offer. Would anyone care for a cup of coffee?
Just trying to wake up, drinking coffee. My throat hurts today from singing last night. I was pretending to be that gal from youtube who was on Britains Got Talent------I sang my kids to bed to the tune of "I dreamed a Dream" like the gal sang, but switched up the words to "it is time to go to bed..." I can't imagine the strain on ones voice when you sing in broadway shows and such each night of the week. No poultry activities today, just the school art fair tonight.
