Yes, it was Blueberry's sister. Thanks for the kisses, makes me feel better . Sophie is now with Chickflick and is fitting in real well with her bantums. She was spending the day alone and now she has a little flock to hang with.

I am so glad to hear that! Sophie will do great with them. Blueberry is the only bantam with a flock of 8 LF hens. She holds her own and is a great hen. Did I read you got a bunny today? Sorry, we never even made it to Imlay City. We slept because the kids didn't seem too enthusiastic about it, so I went with it. Maybe because I told them we couldn't get anything?

We'll have to meet up again soon with other BYC'ers.

Raigan and I had a great time at the daddy/daughter dance! She wouldn't let me sit down all night. Just now trying to relax. I hear another pip in the bator............

Derek, I am so glad you guys took her! She is a funny little thing and I am happy she has a good home! Did Riegan name her?

She is right at home! Raigan named her "Spotty" and she is in an isolation pen with Huck-A-Buck's daughter, a LF salmaon favorelle pullet, and a speckled sussex pullet. She had the stare-down with Huck-A-Buck's girl, but was quickly put in place. I think she is second in that pecking order currently. Thanks again.

oh, i bet Raigan was the Bell of the Ball! how's that knee treating ya after all that dancing?

tell her her kitty cat friend, Kelley is missing her.

still have just a bit of cake left. so very good!

Good Night Rhandi - Can't believe there is still cake left in that house!! Raigan was a blast tonight!! I thought me knee was getting better......I'm sure I'll feel it tomorrow. That girl has no mercy, and how can I say "no" to her???

I'll tell her Kelley is looking for her.

Can't you call the bread fairy and have it sitting there when you wake up???

shoot, i have only met her a few times, and i can't tell her no. i don't know how you would have any defense! your knee is going to be pounding tomorrow, but you'll forget that in a few weeks. you'll never forget her little face and the light in her eyes. these are the moments that define her life. she'll be richer and more blessed because of them.

yeah, where is that darned bread fairy anyway? last of the cake may be breakfast tomorrow!

good night to you and your fam too!

I would say roo, but not certain. Could you post pics. of the others as well and their age? You may have said already, but I don't recall.

For anyone that knows us : That is Raigan in the swing in the last picture. Where does time go?

Good morning all, coffee's on. I've got to get busy and pack a dozen eggs to ship to California. I'm trading eggs and getting BCM eggs in return. Just what I need. More birds.

I haven't looked at a weather report but it looks like it's going to be a damp dreary day. I would have loved to have gone turkey hunting this morning, but what ever Hope and Granny had earlier this week has gotten me and I'm now constantly coughing and blowing my nose. Hopefully I can beat it quicker than they have. Or rather haven't beat since they are both still coughing. Both have been to the Doctor so I hope they start showing some improvement.

Good morning Sam and everyone else who is up and about! I hope today is a little less wet!!

We have work to do around here and it hard to do when everything is under water!!

We also have a scouting event, Sam is getting his bear badge this afternoon and then a 4-H fair clean-up this evening, so another busy day!!

Sophie is doing great with my bantam flock. Fitting right in.
Keep making those special memories with your kids! They will remember them always and it will mold your relationship with them. I have good relationships with my kids and now I'm working on my grandkids. That's why I go every week to spend the day with them. In a couple of years when they're all in school, I won't have that much opportunity, but hopefully, the foundation will be set and they'll know grandma thinks they're awfully special. Raigan is sure a cutie! And so very precious.
