Ok! everybody sing with me...rain rain go away come again another day....I sure wish it would stop raining. This is getting crazy. The tractor will get stuck in the yard in the garden. We are also trying to finish coop and this rain is a pain in the butt. Tomorrow is May. Hope that means the April showers will go away for a little while.

Finally got my coop done, and the ground is so wet that I cannot move it. It is currently sitting next to my garage. Biggest prob is that I had to move the girls in as I needed the trailer for the meaties. I tried to scoot it across the yard, but all it did is sink. Darn thing is WAY too heavy. I think I may have to get the big tractor out to move it, and the ground will not be dry enough for that anytime soon.

Hi everyone.

I don't get a chance to check in as often as I did in the winter, we are super busy. Wish work was always this plentiful for me. It has been a blessing from God and I/we are very thankful for it.

About 2 weeks and our grandaughter should have arrived....Jude is excited to see who she looks like. I always say a baby looks like itself, just want em healthy.

I have had enough rain, and hope to soon be complaining about how dry and hot it is....

Could be worse, my brother says he still has snow in the UP.....he can keep it!

I know what you mean Steve. Right now I am sick of the rain and by July the garden will be to dry, along with the old "cow" well we use to water it. It is always good to be busy with work. Keeps people out of trouble. Have a good night everyone. Looks like the rain might stop for a couple days.

Hi Sarah,

We have the same program in our county (Eaton), it is awesome. Our club has always contributed to the program and I know the lady that runs it, another 4-H leader and some of the other volunteers. Who knew one day my own child would need the program?! It is such an awesome program and an awesome opportunity for some many that would never be able to afford it otherwise. Maya absolutely loves riding, loves the horses, loves the people and has benefited so much since she has begun the program. SO THANK YOU!!!
