Wohoo! Go Buttons Go! So nice to see them taking care of each other.

This has been a really great day. Perfect weather to get things done outside without too much heat. I cannot believe how much stuff I got done the last two days, but alas, it's bach to work for me in the am. Yuck! Hopefully someday I can work for myself.....oh what dreams

Everyone here is doing great. Hubby finally got the mowing deck back on the tractor and mowed for the first time this spring. My oldest has a play at school tomorrow evening, can't wait to see him! My MIL went in for emergancy gall bladder surgery today, and everthing went very well. Now it's time for me to head back out to play. Want to make a small tractor for the Delawares. It will give me good practice for the big one.

What a wonderful day...couldn't have been better.

Sam, my friend is on her way now to get the trio. The roo has been crowing up a storm since we got home.

I sure am glad I've got some youngsters just like him coming up! I want a crow like that on my farm...not to mention how absolutely gorgeous they are!

It's nice knowing that I'll be able to visit them whenever I want...and get more hatching eggs from them until my breeders are old enough.

When I got home, I had 2 heritage Delaware chicks hatched....and bunches more pipped!!!!!

Rose, thanks so much for making the road trip with me today.

I got the eggs into the 'bator a little while ago. Can't wait for those beauties to hatch!

And Cass, what an absolute pleasure to meet you.

And that darling little daughter of yours is just precious. If we ever get to meet again, I'll bring my son and those two will have loads of fun together.

Thanks for making the trip for the Ameraucana chicks...I'm so glad they're going to such a wonderful home.

Please keep me updated on their progress.

My babies turned 4 weeks today, but they hatched in an incubator. I did end up getting the geese from Chicka Chicka Boom Boom (thanks Valerie) for him and they are also 4 weeks, I believe, but were from a hatchery.

I would love to have some toulouse, my next favorite geese!! Maybe once we move and have more room I will get some. Have any pics?

hrm........... the pic shows up when I loaded the page this time.... Anyways, I've rehomed 14 quail into these new digs. They absolutely love. The roosters started crowing, the hens all did the squeeky squeeky call, and the new dust bath i installed sans plumbing is all the rage. I had to break up 4 fistfights over who gets to drop the soap
