I'm pretty sure they missed the worst of it however two of my brothers had taken a motorcycle roadtrip to the Ozarks and stopped to visit my sons. They left yesterday morning for Kansas City and haven't thought to call Granny to let her know if they avoided the bad weather.

I hope they think of it soon. Don't need your mother to be worrying about them! I'll keep them in my prayers for a safe journey!

Hi all, I haven't posted in ages...(although, I lurk on occassion).
My family lives in Kirksville,MO. where the tornado hit. I have been on the phone all morning!

We have some wonderful things to appreciate, here in Michigan: No hurricanes, no volcanos, no eathquakes, few tornados. Is it worth putting up with the snow. I think so!!!

Hello all,

New to BYC. I live in Holly, Michigan. It rained real hard last night. Man it's gonna be muddy putting my fence posts in today. Working on the chicken run today.

Looking forward to sharing information and daily experiences about chickens and general stuff.

I am so glad that winter has gone and we are finally getting some decent weather again. Too much snow this year, pretty but still too much. I think we will have a hot summer though....guess I should check the farmers almanac.

Good morning everyone! Sooo pretty outside. I'm going to wash the bedding and hang it out to dry. Should take no time at all -- very windy here today. Thinking about making some bread. MJ, you have got me hooked on bread making. I just make a new loaf when one runs out! Have a great day!

Welcome Britchick.
