I have one but it is pretty junky if you have a cadillac of one you might want to bring your own. You can bring your kids too. I only have 6. We could drive my neighbor nuts.

Hey Sam, I was thinking about what you said about trying to put eggs under one of your other girls, and she kept moving from it, I wonder if it had a different smell, I wonder if you rubbed the eggs from other chicken on her feather that she may not notice that its not hers,. I have to do that when i have to foster a baby chinchilla to another mom, i rub the foster kit in the bedding and one of her kits of the foster mom, so the smell on the new kit smells like them, Just a thought

Evening everyone. Well, I've got my soup made for tomorrow. Lazed out on making noodles so it's Chicken and Rice Soup. Still just as yummy! And now I've got Old Fashioned Oatmeal cookies in the oven.

hustonn -- sorry I don't know. I gave my EEs different things when they when I got them at six weeks. Like banana, oatmeal, and yogurt. Seems like maybe they could eat grass and such, but I think you need to snip it into small pieces (they'd peck grass and pull small pieces if they were out and about with a hen). I'd wait to see what someone else thinks, too.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts. No news from the sheriff department. Officer Nast was called out of town this afternoon. Guess I wait longer. My neighbor found out from the Post Master that these people have been following mail carriers all over the township and stole quite a few peoples' mail.

MJ -- have a great vacation; it won't be the same here until you get back. Some of us may actually have to come up with yummy receipes. I'll have to borrow something from Country Living - otherwise I'm gonna starve!!

PS -- babies are definitely moving to the coop this weekend.

Good morning all, that sure was quite a light show that we had last night. Probably one of the most intense I have seen in a long while. Hopefully no one sustained any damage from it. One lightning strike appeared to have struck something in my backyard but I have yet to go out and check if anything is hurt. I'm also glad I didn't have my garden planted yet. The deluge surely would have broken tender plants.

Good Saturday Morning!

So foggy here, the air is so damp. Yuck. Oh well, it is supposed to clear up and get sunny later. I think I will throw some laundry in to hang up when the sun does finally peek out.

I found a pair of Carhartt bibs at a garage sale yesterday for $3!!!!
They fit me great, and they look like brand new! I just have to hem them a bit. I guess sometimes it pays to be able to wear mens small clothes!
