Afternoon guys! I might have a broody. I think I'll wait until tonight before asking questions. I have lots. Just want to make sure she does stay in nest all day. She's been spending more and more time in the nest box. And today she hasn't been off it at all. Oh, I hope so!! She's a BO.

Yes, she growls and puffs her head/neck feathers up at me. She always has, though. I usually use a broom stick to lift one side of her up so I can get the eggs. Otherwise she would peck at me. Today that wasn't even happening! She usually doesn't stay this long if the run door is open to free range.

It sounds like she is getting broody, give her time, maybe she will decide to sit.

What a beautiful day! Loved it! Tomorrow is a day off for me so me and the whole family are going garage sale-ing! One of my favorite past times! Hopefully we find some good stuff!

Good morning everyone!! Beautiful day. Of course, I'm taking off early this afternoon -- its my b-day -- and its going to rain. I guess I'm just not suppose to take time off. Talk about being chained to a job!!

Coffee is going down really good this morning. The sun is gonna be out all day, that makes for a great Friday. Milan has their fireworks tonight. It is a great show for a small town. I got the laundry washing right now and it will go out on the line later. There must be something wrong with me because I actually enjoy doing the laundry if I can hang it out to dry.

Well look what came into my work yesterday

I work for a Veterinary.

Does anyone know of any rehab rescue places for wild ducks? I feel guilty keeping the little duck knowing it's a wild duck and should be out in the wild.

I'm planning on calling a few places today, but I was wondering if anyone know any of the rescues personally or know of one to avoid. Thanks a bunch.

I have 3 going broody now,, 2 BA in one nest

, some eggs are due to hatch on the 17th so will see what happens.

meat birds are are getting big

i think in about 2 more weeks they will be ready to go.
