I'm happy to say my kitty "reappeared" on my back porch this afternoon (just a few minutes ago actually) She is now happily sitting in my lap.

I posted lost cat signs a few hours ago, and I even saw a truck with two people I've never seen before drive by my house REALLY slowly, and go around to the alley behind my house.... and then when I went around to the back of the house...poof my kitty was there.

Her collar is how ever still missing in action so some one had to have taken that off of her as she's never in her life tried to take a collar off.

Now I'm off to go take down all the lost cat signs that I spend an hour putting up, erg.

been busy today, had to weed out the strawberry patch, (thank god I have 5 kids to help) b/c I may still be out there trying to finish it, it is the 2nd time I have weded it out, but with all that rain yesterday and wind they blow a bunch of stuff in to the patch, but at least none of them got damaged and I seen strawberries ... yeah

It is possible that the kid, even if he is an older kid, removed the collar, took it home and said he found it. Mom and Dad then seen the signs and decided to return it, because they knew he probably took it. My BIL had a similar incident. His dog came up missing, from his fenced in yard. He was heartbroken, dog was gone for 3 days, finally the girl who delivers his paper and her parents brought him back. She really liked the dog, so she opened the fence and took him home and told her parents she found him wandering. They saw my BIL's signs and had a long talk with their daughter and sure enough, she confessed.

Either way, I am glad you got your kitty back, that is the important thing!!
