Morning everyone!
I would have bought up all the mild at 59 cents! We use so much milk here it is crazy! I love Aldi we shop there every week, between that and walmart we spend a ton of money at both.

Today is library day, I am hoping the kids will find something that will hold their interest all summer long! Any suggestions on a book series for a 13 yr old boy?

Happy Wednesday!

LOL I eat chesse too I just watch it. Dairy is very hard on the body and the hormones oh don't get me started. We always have milk here I buy it from a little market where it is in a glass jug and organic. From cows right here in Michigan after all there are time when olne must have a little milk

for a while there I was trading eggs for whole raw milk

for a 13 year old boy anything by Ted Decker. AWESOME! and you wont have to worry that it will be inappropriate.

i hear you guys, Aldis is awesome!

there is a farm near here where you can own shares of a goat for raw goats milk. (that way it is legal)

INCUBATION EMERGENCY

Ok, guys. We were cutting hay this morning and unfortunately the mower went over a turkey hen sitting on her nest. The hen didn't make it, but now there are six turkey eggs that I have to deal with. In the meantime I will put them under one of my hens, but I am not set up to incubate. Is anyone willing to take on some wild turkey eggs? I haven't candled them or anything, but they are all intact and none seem to have been cracked in the incident. I am in Durand. If anyone can help out I would appreciate it. PM me if you can. What do you say, MJ? Got any room for these guys.

You sholud have stopped by. You are welcome to anytime, just put your helmet on first as the hummingbirds are here in droves.
Anny, glad you got your cat back.
Well, we decided to get some more meaties. DH said to get 25, I was thinking 15, so we compromised and got 20. Woops, when I got home and put them in the brooder, we had 21. I will have to go back and pay for the extra one.
GREAT NEWS!! DH was called from work this morning and he starts back Monday morning. It may be only for a couple weeks or so but at least our medical insurance will start back up. It was supposed to run aout at the end of this month. Power of Prayer!

Thanks MJ. But the wife has very quickly set her heart on hatching them out. I will have to set up an incubator for them. I would, however appreciate any tips that anyone has. And thanks to Boyd for his offer of help as well.

Thanks for the help and suggestions everybody. I will, however, be contacting a wildlife rehabilitator in order to ensure the eggs are properly cared for. I have no interest in opening myself up to the liability involved with dealing with wild turkey eggs. Now I have to try and make my wife understand the reasons. Thanks especially to Crystal.

Awwwww Jeff you are doing the right thing and what is best for the turkeys. Ask the rehab if they will allow the turkeys to be released on your land maybe that will help make your wife feel better. Then she will get to see them from time to time
