Good Morning all!

Sarah- I hope you feel better!

We have 2 roos that Rachel hatched on April 1st. They are bantams..cross with a lavender ameraucana and a bantam that did meet breed standards. Very handsome, black with gold markings.
Anyone want them?!?!? They are driving our older roos crazy:)

Exercised this morning..went 6 miles, ran 4 of them. This getting in shape is a lot of hard work!

Off to get some work done...

Last night of Vacation Bible School!

Feeling much better, you guys! I went back to sleep around six after watching a really cool Nova Now program and just woke up a couple minutes ago... 8:50ish. I was hungry and everything... let's hope a bowl of cereal doesn't upset the stomach.

LOL about the gurgling waking you up!

My brother took care of the cornish cross for me the past couple days. He even changed the water for me! Of course, he was worried about there not being DE and vitamins in the water, but I know he wouldn't have been able to measure them out correctly so I just told him that fresh water was better than no water. He's only 8 years old, bless his heart! He had to put every one of the two-pound monsters up into the coop at night.

MJ....how in the world do you still have hostas???? It just hit me...yours were beautiful. The chickens ate all mine down early spring when they were trying to come up! Had to give most of mine away, kept a few but they had no chance!
Good Morning! Off on another road trip....Krisrose decided to get the other two turkeys that Shelleyb has! Have a good one all!

We are re starting with chickens this year. My kids raised them for 4-H years ago. This spring we decided to get them again. We also have 21 meat chickens that we plan on processing the beginning of Sept.
Glad you could join us!

they don't mess with them at all. they scratch in the beds like crazy and get all the bugs and a lot of the weeds though. they sometimes get a bit of the ends.

i did learn the hard way that pretty, red geraniums were a no no down on the ground in pots. the geese at them down. LauraSBale gave me a beautiful plant that luckily was up on the porch so it was safe!
