here, i'll start:

hustonn's broody is going to be the best momma EVER. (we can give it a whirl anyway)

and like Opa said, incubating and babysitting are two different things. just keep your eye on 'em.

i just snuck another chick under another broody hen. i swear, is EVERYONE broody? what the heck!?!?!

DD & I take turns doing the "broody toss," running the girls off the nest, so they will eat. I must be something about this unseasonably cold summer.

Good morning all.

Yesterday sure was a strange day weather wise. Everytime I would start to do something outside it would rain. I put my tools away and the sun would come out. I'd decide to start again and it would rain again. Maybe God was telling me not to work on Sunday. Although I did take Granny to church, I'd have thought that that would have gotten me on his good side.

Good morning. I am resting today since yesterday evening I was swinging with the kids on the disc swing that hangs from the big old walnut tree and slipped off the darn swing and landed on my hip. Not getting around very easy today.

Love those humminbird moths! The first picture it actually looks like a flying shrimp! So neat!

I won't be online at all after this Wednesday, you guys! My dog show in Marshall is four days -Thursday through Sunday. So I've got to get over there on Wednesday. I will see some of you Saturday at chickenstock, though! I sure hope they have showers at the fairgrounds... wouldn't want to smell too much like dog by the time I see ya!

Sarah, have fun at the dog show! I miss showing and hope to get back into it someday.

I am hobbling around a bit this morning. Yesterday I stepped on a nail with my crocs on and guess what? Nails slide right through crocs!!

So this morning I am calling the Dr.'s office to see when my last tetanus shot was.
