Thanks, guys! I guess I'm more worried about my smell than dog smell... lol. That's a long time to go without a shower! I could do a sponge-bath type thing, but if I show up to chickenstock with a slick high ponytail, you'll know why!

Weather sure was strange yesterday. Was at my grand daughter's 3rd birthday party and it was as Opa said, raining one minute and sunny the next. Hot one minute and cold the next! We finally gave up and moved the party inside!

I have some roosters I need to sell 2 golden laced polish tophats, 1 wheaton Americauna, 1 silver Americauna, 1 black silkie, 1 white silkie, 1 silkie I am unsure of its color either buff, red or partridge. They were born on or around April 8th.

Opa- same thing happened to me yesterday with the weather too! so I have a clean house instead!

This morning I picked in the garden....2- 5 gallon pails of green beans, a coffe can of peas, a bucket of brocoli, and 8 cukes. Lots of work to do to get some in the freezer today!

My ducks are getting big and adorable! I'll have to post a movie showing what they do to me...I think they think I'm "momma duck"! I walk out there and say "here duckie duckie duckie" and it's like EVERYONE OUT OF THE POOL here comes mom! Ever seen a duck mosh-pit?

I'm lovin' those photos of the humming-bird moth thingy...I found a really awesome moth hiding in my pumpkin plants, I'll have to post that cause I got some awesome pictures!

Home from work and no further deaths of the new chicks - leaving us a total of 3 for each broody hen - Opa, I think you're right - I've been watching the 2 hens and Granny is talking to her chicks and I've seen her sit so that the darlins can cuddle up underneath here - Trudy, the broody twin, is only interested in scratching, scratching, scratching - haven't seen her sit once for her babes to cuddle. So the ? now is, do you think that I could move Trudy's 3 little ones in w/Granny tonight after dark or am I asking for trouble? Thanks all -
btw, the chicks are 6 or 7 days old today
