B/B/S Ameraucanas that I got from Pips&Peeps. After reading all the horror stories about shipped eggs, I'm so pleased they made it to Michigan from Washington State intact! I'll post pictures as soon as I have them out of the bator.

Good Evening Everyone!

Busy last few days! Got 38 dozen ears of corn for FREE! So 34 dozen are in the freezer now. I think I have enough for the winter now with what I have already froze. The corn is thanks to my brother's wife's dad!

Got the lawn mowed before the rain too! So we can start all over again in a few days

I am glad that I didn't have to water the garden! Tomatoes are waiting to be picked....

The house is still fairly clean:ya

All of the closets are cleaned out and clothes are loaded into the van to go to free clothes. The girls are sorting through the last bag of hand me downs and finding some great things! Not going to have to buy much for the fall!

Meat chickens go on Friday-not sure where I am going to put them, my freezers are pretty full already! And the pig goes in in 2 weeks.

MJ- cannot wait to see the chicks and the huge combs. Also your new hair color!

suzpyoung- glad to hear that you have more than one chick! pictures please! Rachel is hatching out bantam lavender ameraucanas and bantam EE's.

Congratulations to the person with the new baby---do we get details and pictures?

Welcome new folks also!

Cannot wait til FowlFest! Jon is racing that weekend....so I have to figure out if the boys (Almost 3 and 5) will be coming or not....it would be a REALLY LONG DAY for all of us then!

Off to get chores done, Have a great evening everyone!

Thats the question: what do the eggs look like..they are still shades of brown, but Im hoping for some purple eggs from these eggs/hatchings/layers once mature LMAO. No I dont know what color eggs the hens out of these will make...so its a project the grand babies and I are doing...ITS A HUGE MISTERY! lol

Kind of like coloring ones hair that has a well instead of city water..never know what color it shall be LOL

If you want a dozen or so, let me know. Ive got some in the bator now. Cant wait for them to hatch.

I lost one of my baby turkeys today
