not good, to fix my back tooth would of cost 900.00 out of pocket, and since Chuck work is half of what it should be, i had them pull the tooth. now my mouth hurts and feeling Hugh and swollen,

Thanks all!

Just wondering if anybody has any chicken experience in Wyoming since this city seems to be under communist rule, and anything that deviates from their version of what's "normal" for a yard gets the violation letters and inspectors up and moving... I've been complained at for having my wheelbarrow in my driveway (in front of garage), as well as in my yard.. And they've complained about a bbq grill sitting next to my garage.. While pretty much all of the neighbors around me are cool / friendly, the ones on my south side (who are in Florida > 6 months out of the year) think the neighborhood belongs to them, and believe anything "non-conforming" should be "dealt with" swiftly.

I know I've got the Right-to-Farm act on my side, but I'm hoping to avoid yet another fight with this darn city.

Well a lot depends on your ordnances, some places you have to have your neighbors ok to have chickens, and how much land you have and how many chickens you can have. if you have a lot of land, and you follow the ordnances, the neighbor cant doing any thing to you.

Wow, that sounds like a gated community or something. Awful! Right to Farm Act is on your side, but are you willing to hire a lawyer and take on the city? Because they sound like a real pain! Do you live in city limits? Definitely get a copy of all the city codes and ordinances and see where you stand, or township, whichever applies to your case.

Mornin all

Back on the chain for him. Darn dog!

Easy day for school work on Fridays. We host our homeschool ballet here on Friday afternoons. We are all ready for them

Weekend plans: Surprise 40th b-day party for a friend tonight, tomorrow homeschool picnic, and Sunday a tupperware party. This is not normal for us!

Booked a hotel for FowlFest! The show is switched and youth is a 2 day show like the open division. So we will get up really early on Saturday and come home after the show is done on Sunday.

Have a great weekend everyone!
The weather sounds perfect!

Where are you staying wylie? We booked a hotel in Birch Run. I think it's the Holiday Inn. We have our reservation for Friday night, but I think I need to change it to Saturday night. We are 2 hours away and that way we can spend day at Fowlfest head to the hotel when it gets late. Then it off the Bronners the next day. The last time we were there my 9 year old was 2 months old. The kids should have a great weekend.
I have a hen in my bathroom. She is my hen that has a gimpy leg. MJ has met her. Even though she has a limp it hasn't stopped her from being in the top 5 of the pecking order. Last night she wasn't roosting, and this morning she was hobbeling around on her hocks and wings. I can't find a break and no swelling. So for now she is in a large cat carrier with food and water that she is scarfing down. I am giving her a baby asprin and a place to rest. How long should I keep her in the house? If she isn't better in 3 days? Dinner?

briana- we are staying at the Super 8. It is the hospitality sponsor for the show. So the rate was $70. for 2 adults and 5 kids.
And they have a free continental breakfast.

Not sure about your chicken. Sorry she is sick.

Hi everyone. Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes. I came home last night, but once again all the test came back okay. The CT did cause a flair in my asthma though and I had to go to my family Dr. this afternoon for a breathing treatment. I also went to my GI at 6:30AM to swallow a camera capsule. I was hooked up to all sorts of little sticky things (that were NOT fun to remove) and had a battery pack/reciver fanny pack complete with suspenders. Stylin!!! Then I went back 8 hours later to be disconected. I finally home, weak, but better than I was two days ago! Hopefully the camera will show something, if not I am already scheduled for another test Wednesday that will tell us if my gaul bladder is working properly or not.

I guess I missed some fun while I was gone. The Turkeys kept flying out of their pen every morning and tried to follow the boys to the bus! Too Funny. I can just imagine all 28 of them chasing the boys across the lawn as fast as their little legs could move (imagine running at 8 1/2 months preggo). They are almost ready to process, so it must have been a sight to see.

I have talked to MJ a few times in the last couple of days. She is doing well, but has 2 broken fingers. She did tell me what she whacked them on....but I'm not telling. Guess

Opa called earlier today, on their way through IL. He, Granny and Daisy are stopping for frequent breaks because of his back problem and to gas up/eat, but making good time anyway. The pullets/hens are traveling quite well in their pretty coop.

They hope to be in Purdy, MO by nine tonight.
