I am making apple sauce with some of Opa's apples

Long process but well worth it!

Picinic was fun. Kids played with lots of friends and I got to visit with adults!!!

The possiblities are endless for how MJ broke 2 fingers...

ranch hand- the mixer is a great possibility!

Good Morning!!

What another beautiful day. I can't believe we had to wait this long for summer.

Hopefully the men folk make it back ok today. They went on a road trip to my parents, up north. From what I hear it was quite the time yesterday as my dad got impatient and dropped a tree on the house

Couldn't wait till my DH got done with the other project he was working on. Mom was in the house

very very afraid to come out. But all is good my DH got the tree off the house with no damage to the shingles or chimney.
I have been enjoying the quiet here and am now collecting 14 eggs a day from the Isa's. Maybe today will be more!! Oh, and Lilly, the blind chicken is laying again now that her pecking at has stopped.

All fish are now in my pond enjoying the good life LOL

Just got back from the Woods n Water Expo here in Imlay City. It was our first year and wow, there were a lot of people! We usually go to the parade in Richmond but skipped it this year. I am thinking that hammock ya mentioned cristy17 sounds really good about now!

Good Evening!

Saw the evening news and I am dumbfounded that there is a grad student, Annie Lee, that has been missing for 5 days. today was suppose to be her wedding day.

She went into work and never came out, with 70+ security cameras....today they were at the dump looking through the colleges garbage....

Praying for her family..

Evening all -

We did spaghetti sauce and a pepper relish this weekend....looking forward to applesauce and pear sauce!


Sarah, the story of the grad student runs chills up my back...my oldest is the same age....and my yougest is planning a wedding next summer.... This breaks my heart....almost makes me ill to watch the news about it...prayers being sent for her and her family.

On the 11:00 news last night, they said that they found a body in the wall of the building.

So sad. praying for this family.
