Hello.

Kids are home and fighting, of coarse. They don't go back to school until Wednesday.....so it's going to be a really fun weekend.

It seems we have some more hens starting to lay. Most of my birds were late hatches last year, so we have been anxiously awaiting the warm weather. I can't wait to have more eggs than we can eat.

We did go outside and play in the snow for awhile. Aidan finally admitted that his feet were starting to itch, so we headed in. It's very flat here, so no sledding. He did have fun playing snowplow with the dog in the snow though. That might explain why his boots were full of snow. Oh to be 7 again. LOL. JAred is still under the weather. Feeling much better but stayed inside. Hopefully he will be able to enjoy the snow before it all melts. Hopefully that will happen soon. I want to get those new coops built soon.

Goodafternoon all. Having my kids and my cousins kids here who I babysit for sometimes and some neighbor kids over to play due to no school it makes my house a little crazy!!! 8 kids!!! What was I thinking!!! Good thing I get to go out tonight just me and my husband. It the Wild Turkey Federation dinner tonight. We thought it would be interesting to go to. Kids are going with Grandparents for the WHOLE weekend!! So a quiet weekend for my.

My Cochins and Silkies are laying great and fertility is awesome too. I'll have blue/black/splash/mottled bantam Cochins and blue/black/splash Silkies hatching every week for the next 3+ weeks.

Hope everyone has a great day. We're headed out the door to Lapeer this morning to meet up with a fellow BYCer. Then it's off to TSC to get some supplies. Sure hope the sun peeks it's head out today. It's not too cold out there this morning.

Yesterday I drove to Chicago and back

for my little ones 6 month check up. All is well, thankfully. Today we are going to a Chinese New Year party!

Much more fun!!
