And its stopped snowing here. We may have got 1/2 inch total. I'm sure it will melt by this afternoon. Good day to be outside. Kids don't have school so better yet.

Its that time of year again. I want SPRING Peeps and this year I don't know what type!!

I was certainly surprized to see how much snow that has accumulated in an area that was only supposed to get 4-6, Makes me wonder just how much our 6-8 will wind up to be.

Im not sure how bad it is at your house Opa, but it's a white out conditions here. You can't see driving. The tracks from Doug's truck are gone from a few hours ago, and footsteps from me and my neighbor are completely gone. We are definitly getting more than 8inches.

You could help me come up with the money to buy a couple of real expensive snowmobiles. I bought that new snowblower this past fall and look at how little snow we actually got this year.

Ahh...Snow Days, the sound of the dogs whining at the squirrels in the bird feeder, the cat meowing at the door to come in, my girls fighting over toys, the neighbors snow blower running and people complain about roosters!!

Good Morning! Wow, it's a snowing! It wasn't doing too much this morning so I shoveled out the chicken run....waste of time, I see. Oh well, good day to do nothing at all. Enjoy you day, in whatever you do.

My chickens are angry. Not only is there a new young rooster who keeps trying to claim the nest boxes as his, but there is entirely too much snow outside. I'll be babysitting the young rooster today, since he's managed to piss off every hen in the chicken house.

The girls ganged up on him already this morning, while Houdini just watched and I swear I heard him laughing.

Hi iluvcks, I'm about 9 miles south of Flint In the Linden area. You're way up there in the Bay City area, right?
Thanks for the welcome even though we're not neighbors :)

I got my first 4 hens a year ago. Buff Orpington, Australorp, Barred rock, and I think a RI Red. They were 8 months old when I got them so I had eggs pretty much right away. I'm retired now and am thinking of getting a couple dozen but I don't think I want to start from chicks yet. I'd like to get some good laying pullets this spring.

I'm newly retired, have one married son & 2 grandkids in the metro Det. area, and at home have 3 horses and a pony for the grandkids 2 Jack Russell Terriers, and board some other horses on 7 acres.

Good Afternoon!!!!

But perfect for snowball fights and snowmen!!!!

We are almost done with school work. I know, no snow day for us! I want to be done with school in mid-May so I can work on the garden

The young guy on Fox News this morning was WAY off. He said " 6 inches tops"

This was at 4:30 am. I had already been outside with the puppy, and knew we had at least 6 inches already, and snow hard still.

I sent you a PM Sarah, I have a question for ya!
