LOL @ the turkey comment. If hatching goes well next spring I could probably spare a few poults...

They are beautiful Narragansetts if I do say so myself though. Hopefully Sir Henry (the tom in my avatar) will trut while you're here so you can see him all his glory. Sometimes he's shy around strangers though.

No, and I am pretty positive my girls are girls. Only have three of them. One- really all of them, are definitely girls. Girls but they are not laying eggs. Everything I own is a freeloader- so perhaps someone decided to learn how to crow? Would be my luck.

Yep, the Black Australorps all are black.
I don't seem to have any pictures of the brahmas on flickr. I'll snap a couple tomorrow, if you'd like, and post them so you can get an idea.
The BA would be $10 each, the Brahmas $8 each and chicks $2 each. Basically what I've got into them in based on their ages.

Whoops, missed your question. No, neither the brahmas nor the australorps are too old to mingle with your dog. All of my birds free range and all are used to my mini-schnauzer trying to "play" with them.
