Ordered a Goose Diaper for Sebastian-AKA Mr. McFluffyPants, and 2 duck diapers for my special needs Rouen and her mate. For Sebastian, I ordered this pattern

Sebastian's Diaper Pattern(Of course it will be a goose wearing it rather then a runner.)

And then I bought these two fabric patterns,

Ming-Ming(Oreo's Mate) he's my youngest sons duck who LOVES storms, so I got him a lighting pattern and Oreo just a solid chocolate brown color. But Sebastian will most likely be a FT indoor goose, I'm mean he'll go outside and all but he'll be indoors with us since he doesn't have a partner to bond with, and I don't really want to see him try and mate with my female ducks. If anything he'll hang out with the 2 ducks that have diapers as well. I know, I'm a little weird but hey WHY be normal I say! WHY!?

Do you ever bring yearly stool samples from your chickens/ducks into the vets for parasite testing? I just brought the Goose and the ducks stool into the vet to be tested and both are parasite free!! YAY!!!

Now I don't feel so germie/nasty when they have oopsies on my floor. I do clean it up and disinfect, but for my family's protection, my other pets, and the fowl, I wanted to be sure we are all parasite free if they are coming in.

Put 9 eggs in the 'bator on Friday. We'll see what comes of it. They are EE x RSL and BSL crosses, plus 1 cochin egg and 1 egg from the BSL who's in with the cochins because one of the RSLs kept beating her up, so it'll be a cr@pshoot. DH hates our EE rooster and isn't looking forward to him reproducing, but any males will get eaten unless someone here wants a who-knows-what cockerel. Hope to get a few pullets.

May end up getting a few chicks at TSC anyway.

Thanks for the well-wishes. Sugery went well- recovery sucked. Came home and slept for three hours, and unwrapped my bandages. They were too darn tight. rewrapped them and feel much better.
I ate some soup and had a cup of coffee. I think I may have another cup.

I feel 110 times better than I did when I first came home. They kick you out pretty much once you have opened your eyes. I was nauseated, and sweating and had the worst headache and arm pain. I refused their pain meds. They only gave me a choice of vicodin or dalauded (sp). no thanks. i wanted a Tylenol 3 or a Motrin. No more IV pain meds for me. It was overkill and I didnt need it.

Anyhoo- thanks again. Hopefully now I can get better and get back to work. My empty bank account will appreciate that.

Mom 2em All - glad the surgery went well & you're back home. Hope you have a speedy recovery. Then you can also really enjoy all the new chicks when they hatch
