The other day my neighbor said "since you have chickens now I just have to ask if it's true that if they look up when it's raining they will drown?"

I said "Kelle, if that were true with all the rain we've had my chickens would all be dead by now!"

Right now, at this very moment, today has gotten as good as it is going to get. As the day progresses the heat is going to continue to build and become unbearable. While warm weather is preferable to bitter cold, at least with cold you can keep putting on more clothes. With extreme heat there is a limit to how many clothes you can take off, and sometimes a birthday suit feels like too much.

Becareful working outside. The heat can get to you before you know it.
