Morning everyone!
RIR.....congrats on your bunny win!! Beating out 399 other bunnies is no small feat!

Daughter of Eve....I hope the beak stops disinigrating and that your filing the bottom one down ends the problem.

Keyt...sorry about you not going to Chickenstock AND having to sell your car. Hope things improve for you financially soon.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all you dads out there. I'm blessed to still have my dad alive at 98!!! He has been such a character-shaping dad...a retired dairy farmer that could do just about anything...as most farmers can!!

Chickens are doing good but I have a small rabbit issue. I have a 3-4 month old Black New Zealand doe. I would like to trade her for a Fawn Giant Flemish doe. Anyone interested? I hate to let her go but if I go with GF I can only accomodate a breeding pair. I would like to know she's being used as a breeder and taken care of!

Other than that : Happy Fathers Day!

Happy Fathers day to all the roosters on here!

I work today.

I am considering rehoming all the ducks and keeping the goose. The goose has decided that the female muscovies are a good catch- and has been pulling them off their nests. He made one unwilling broody BLEED yewterday by grabbing her by her head and pulling her off the eggs.

Didnt someone on here have a female toulouse they were looking to rehome?

Olive Hill- are you coming to Chicken stock? I have this O-Shamo, I cant decide if it is pullet or cockerel no crowing, red comb...I have no idea. He/she needs a home. I promised it to Olive Hill, if someone lives near her- perhaps we could arrange transportation.

Silkies, Showgirls and geese. Sounds like my future flock.

Oh, cant forget the pigeon who is in love with the Sizzle. hahhaahhahahaha.

And the baby mallards that need to hurry up and feather out so they can get out of my kitchen.

Everyone enjoy this beautiful day.

Question for all you who hatch chicks: Do you vaccinate the chicks and if so, for what? And where do you get the vaccines? I know my current chickens (except the Sebright) were vaccinated for Marek's at the hatchery. Now the Sebright is sitting on 4 hatching eggs (2 EE, 2 Speckled Sussex). Being so small-scale, should I plan on vaccinating? Thanks for any input!

Hi Mom2emall- I have two 6 week old goslings I am looking to rehome. They may be younger than what you are looking for.
We have sexed them and we are pretty sure that they are females (we never did this before!). They are Toulouse/American cross and/or an American. The pure American should be a Blue according to goose expert Pete55.
